Choosing the Right Colors for your Logo Design
In logo design, choice of colors is one of the most important elements because the colors will represent a non-verbal message about your business or purpose. Different colors can evoke ideas, feelings, and messages about the company with just one glance.
If you're designing a logo, here are some tips to help you develop the right colored logo.
Only Pick 2-3 Colors: When it comes to visually stimulating the eye, too much of one color can be displeasing, while a lot of colors in a small space can equally be displeasing. In this case, choosing two to three colors for the logo is critical. Furthermore, when you are choosing specific colors it's good to have a few things in mind; make sure the colors complement each other, use a natural hue for one color, and then focus on changing the intensity of the two colors you are using. Sometimes, using a third color can be done, but printing services may charge more for printing more than two colors.
Identify your Target Audience: A good way to choose a great color scheme for a logo is to identify who your target audience is. Different cultures, backgrounds, and ages build upon colors that can represent different emotional meanings. Depending on who your target audience is should help in determining appropriate colors.
Knowing what colors can evoke different emotions may be beneficial to you. Here are some colors that are associated with emotions:
Red = energy, power, love and aggression
Pink = womanliness and gentleness
Orange = enthusiasm, cheerfulness and excitement
Yellow = weakness and brightness
Green = newness and calmness
Blue = professionalism, accuracy, and formality
Purple = superiority, holiness and royalty
Brown = slight prosperity, nature and usefulness
White = clarity, purity, sophistication and honesty
Grey = business state of mind and sensibleness
Black = courage, traditionalism, and significance
With all this in mind, you can see how choosing the right colors for a logo can be a bit difficult and necessary to attract the right clients. When developing and designing a logo, keep the clients in mind and think about what will draw them in. Logos are very important as they deliver a message to customers and clients without every saying a word. Choose your colors wisely!

when do children generally learn to sort items by color?
My son is 17 months old and i just want to know if he is ahead of other boys on this issue
Well is he sorting by color already? My niece is 2 and she isn't really doing it yet. My daughter who is 4 had to know it before she could get into pre-school. I'd say start working with your son to at least learn the basic colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, and brown (if he doesn't know them already). Then I'd say when he gets closer to 3, work on grouping same colored items together.
Learn colors! COLOR YELLOW. Children can learn the color Yellow.
