has anyone used a "clicker" before in class?
I have a interwrite PRS transmitter for my biology class, does anyone know how it works?
it works by utilizing infrared radiation. infrared radiation cannot travel through most solid materials meaning the clicker has to be in the line of sight, more or less, to the receiver. If it worked by transmitting microwave/radio radiation such as cell phones and some remotes, then it could go through most walls books etc all though there are restrictions as to the amount of material the radiation can go through before the signal degrades beyond recognition. infrared radiation is safe just as is most radiation that is unable to ionize molecules. Ionizing molecules requires energies at and greater than contained in ultraviolet light. Ionizing radiation is not used by your clicker
