What Bachelors program would be best suited to gain knowledge about investing....?
Hi guys,
I am working on my Bachelors Degree in Technology - Telecommunication and I'm thinking of taking on another Bachelors degree program where I can learn about how the whole economy/stock market/investing works.
I want to become an investor in the long run but still do what I love, which is work in IT. Basically try to retire early. So, since I love to study, what course or program is best suited to learn all about investing/stock market and the economy? I'm not sure, I was thinking about a Bachelors in Economy or Finance.
Anyone have some views and opinions? I know you don't need formal schooling to learn investing, but I woul like to, plus it's an extra Bachelors.
Bachelors in Technology is a more technical degree. A lot of practical that goes along with your subjects.
Ed Thorp is a very successful investor, he has a PhD in math. Look at the history of Princeton Newport Partners particularly during 1987 which is when Black Monday occurred, they turned out 35% that year.
