When you become a special education teacher your work will be with children and youths who possess numerous disabilities, such as acute emotional, cognitive, or physical impairments. As a special-ed teacher you will chiefly instruct them about life skills and fundamental literacy. Im in college in special education, I'm wondering what I need to do to land a teaching position in special education and what job prospects are like.
